FAQ
Do we need a DPA if we are a SaaS provider?
If you process customers’ personal data on their behalf, GDPR requires a data processing agreement. Larger customers usually ask for a DPA before signing.
When should we set up a holding structure?
Usually before raising investment or entering several markets: the structure affects taxes, IP ownership and convenience for the investor. It is better to plan it in advance than to rebuild it later.
Is it risky to use open source in a commercial product?
Not always, but licences have different terms and some impose obligations on your own code. We review which licences are used and find safe solutions.
